NRN Fleet Awards
A member needs to fulfil those requirements before being suggested for an award.
Those are the following:
Medal of Honour (For Commissioned Officers)
No more than twice a year is this medal, the New Republic Navy's highest commendation, given out for service above and beyond the call of duty. This particular Medal of Honour is reserved for Commissioned officers.
Since this medal is given out only twice a year, an officer who receives it needs to pass the following criteria:
- - outstanding work in leadership and/or administrative work
- - autonomous work based on the principles and guidelines of the NRN – for example building up a new, successful division from the scratch
- - being a perfect example for an NRN officer
- - having a very good reputation within the whole fleet
This medal shall not be given out before reaching July due to the need of continued, long lasting good work. The Fleet CO, XO and XA need to give their okay before handing it out.
Medal of Honour (Non-Commissioned officers)
No more than three times a year is this medal, the New Republic Navy's highest commendation, given out for service above and beyond the call of duty. This particular Medal of Honour is reserved for non-Commissioned officers and lower ranking members.
A member needs to meet the following criteria to receive this award:
- - outstanding, autonomous work in assisting line officers
- - being a very good example for all pilots and cadets
- - very active gamer
- - do his best for the good of his unit
The Fleet CO and the CO's of the divisions in which the member is a part have to agree on the candidate.
Medal of Outstanding Civilian Service
This medal is awarded for outstanding service non-game related such as website creation, documentation authoring, public relations, or other civilian duty.
This medal will be given out for outstanding administrative work. Here are some examples
- - taking care of servers, websites, other technical stuff
- - successfully participating in non gaming departments
- - long-lasting, effective work in non-gaming areas
- - helping with creating NRN guidelines, policies and documents
- - work in public relations.
This award will be given out by the Fleet CO and the responsible Department CO.
Medal of Courage
This medal is awarded for outstanding leadership and courage in game.
This medal is given out by the Fleet CO for outstanding leadership and courage in game.
This includes very good results in tournaments, outstanding activity or developing new strategies ingame.
Discipline Award
This medal is awarded for unwavering discipline both in game and in other areas of communication.
This award is given out for outstanding discipline, a very good reputation, outstanding behaviour when it comes to communication and following NRN rules in and outside of gaming. It is given out by the Fleet CO upon consultation with DIA.
Loyalty Award
This medal is given out to NRN members for every six months of loyal service.
